The Alphacool Core ATX jumper plug is a simple but highly effective tool. Once the water cooling system is assembled, the system must be filled. To do this, the pump needs power from the power supply; the system itself should remain power-free for safety reasons. To be able to start the power supply without booting up the entire computer, the 24-pin ATX plug is removed from the mainboard, thereby deactivating the power supply. The 24-pin jumper plug is now plugged into the 24-pin connector of the power supply and the pump is connected to the power supply. After pressing the power button, the power supply starts and the pump is supplied with power. This makes it very easy to fill the system.
